Career as a singer


23 March 2000 – she debuted in Verdi’s Nabucco in the role of Fenena in the Hungarian Opera House of Kolozsvár (Klausenburg- Romania) with great success. Director: András Kürthy.
-Pergolesi: Stabat Mater, alt soloist. With the Danubia Orchestra conducted by Domonkos Héja. Köszeg, Hungary
-Soloist of the ’Honvéd Ensemble’ of Budapest, Hungary.
-She got the role of Dorabella in the Hungarian State Operahouse in Budapest, Hungary.

2001 – Brahms-evening with Balázs Szokolay and Maria Teresa Uribe in Budapest.
-Soloist of the InterOperett-Gala in Budapest.
-Pergolesi: Stabat Mater, Budapest with the conducting of Ádám Medveczky. Alt soloist.
-She sang for Ólafur Ragnar Grímsson, the President of the Republic of Iceland in Stykkisholmur, Iceland.

2002 – She sang the part of Dorabella in W. A. Mozart’s Cosi fan Tutte in Reykjavik and Egilstadir in Iceland.
-She got the part of the Second Lady in Mozart’s The Magic Flute in The National Theatre of Debrecen, Hungary.
-She got a scholarship from the Friends of Opera Society in Budapest.
-She had a concerto with the title ’The Three Sopranos’ in The Opera House of Reykjavik with the collaboration of Kristín Ragnhildur Sigurdardóttir and Hulda Gudrun Geirsdóttir. Piano accompaniment: Iwona Ösp Jagla.

2003 – playing the part of Donna Elvira in Mozart’s Don Giovanni in Reykjavik and Egilstadir in Iceland.
-Song recital with Gabriella Fodor in Pécs, Hungary. Programme: Icelandic Songs.
-She had a recital in The Opera House of Reykjavik, piano accompaniment by Antónia Hevesi. Programme: songs by Kodály and Bartók and elaborations of Hungarian folk songs. Icelandic premier.
-Pergolesi: Stabat Mater. Alt soloist. Hafnarfjördur, Iceland.
-Musical-concert. Hafnarfjördur, Iceland.

2004 – Wagner concert in ’Spinoza-House’, Budapest. Recital. Wagner: Wesendonck–Lieder, Isolde’s Liebestod.
-The concert of the Hungarian Wagner Society. Budapest. She sang the aria of Turandot–from the second act, and the aria of Elisabeth from Tannhäuser. Dich, teure Halle.

2005 – The Liszt Academy of Music, Budapest. (Liszt Legacy’s Building.) Opuses by Beethoven and Wagner. Recital.

2006 – ’Mozartiada’. She sang Mozart opuses - e. g. the aria ’Chio mi scordi di te’ – in The House of Arts in Pécs.
-The Eternal Woman–monodrama. A kind of musical evening, in which a cycle of songs–R. Schumann: Women’s love, women’s fateFrauenliebe und Leben —and other kinds of opera arias - Wagner: Isolde’s Love Death, piano pieces, a film, and a poem became one play. Recital.

2006/2007 – she had more recitals, participated in concerts in Budapest and in the country in Hungary.

2007/2008 – she sang the part of ’Örzse–Ilka’ and Maria Theresia in Zoltán Kodály’s opera called János Háry, in a concert-like performance organized by the Hungarian National Philharmony accross Hungary.

7 April 2008 – Graduation concert in Pécs in The House of Arts and Literature. (MA)

5 May 2008 – Portrait about the teaching and artistic work of Ildikó Rita Anna Varga. (Mohács, Csele TV.) Broadcasted on the local TV channel of Mohács.

2009 – interpretations of the musical The Sound of Music in Pécs, she acted and sang the part of ’Maria’.

2010/2015 - she had recitals, participated in concerts in Hungary. (E.g. 27 March 2013, Kodály Concert Hall, Pécs. 20 Apr. 2013, Zsolnay Cultural District, Pécs)
